New iOS and Android App eliminates coding and high costs of development
NEW YORK -- May 4, 2015 Apptrify, a new workforce-mobilization tool that helps enterprises extend their business processes and existing business applications onto mobile devices, will make its debut here this week as part of the TechCrunch Disrupt “Startup Alley.”
Apptrify’s launch at TechCrunch Disrupt is in conjunction with the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation’s participation in the conference.
In a matter of minutes, Apptrify quickly and easily creates task-management and mobile-employee-partner portals without the need for expensive app development or time-consuming coding. This is all accomplished within the platform using a series of icons, drop-down menus and entry screens, with the output being a series of easy-to-use mini-apps that are deployed on mobile devices in real time. Apptrify also provides a fully functional web client ensuring the same experience when using a computer.
In addition to creating forms, workflows, surveys and tasks for process automation, Apptrify allows easy integration with an enterprise’ existing applications, to give them new life in today’s mobile world, while protecting past investment.
Flexible in design and use, Apptrify creates interactive reporting modules without coding. This enables companies to instantly deploy and update instructions to workers in the field or in offices, with the ability to instantly revoke information or access to it on mobile devices. Apptrify does all this without breaking the structures of either Apple iOS or Android security models, making the app and the sharing of data more secure than email.
Apptrify modules can also capture and analyze mobile sensory information obtained from a smartphone or tablet’s camera, audio, or add-on accessories. These modules allow Apptrify to collect and manage information from sensor readings that can be captured using a smartphone’s light, GPS, accelerometer, camera or microphone.
Priced as low as $5.00 per month, Apptrify offers three pricing plans that range as high as $20.00 per month. Bulk pricing for companies that wish to deploy the SaaS-based service across their mobile workforce is also available.
Privately held Apptrify is based in San Francisco and has been funded through a grant from the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation’s innovation contest and private investors.
